Nestle Fitness launches new breast cancer prevention campaign titled #HandsOn

Nestle Fitness brand launches a new breast cancer campaign in October. #HandsOn campaign encourages women to check their breasts once a month for early detection of breast cancer. The campaign is part of a global initiative of Nestle Fitness, which is dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer.

As part of the campaign, Nestle Fitness launches a new video //on.fb.me/1UJ7dOu that surprised how often women check their cell phones throughout the day, but often forget the most important periodic check - the one that it could save their lives - breast exam. Nestle Fitness encourages women to join the #HandsOn campaign and post, on all social media channels, a picture of them with their hands on their breasts, along with the hashtag #HandsOn.

"This year's #HandsOn campaign aims to be a new signal for all women and, at the same time, an invitation to fight together against breast cancer. By participating in the Casiopeea cross with the theme" Winners wear pink ", we help women who they need breast implants, and we also want to encourage them to self-examine and fight for the early diagnosis of breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide, according to the World Health Organization. Early detection remains the most important way to improve the survival rate of breast cancer patients. Since 2008, the incidence of breast cancer worldwide has increased by more than 20% and mortality by 14%.

"We are pleased that this year through our partnership with Nestle Fitness, we will be helping more women to fight against breast cancer. Early detection of this condition is very important because the 5-year survival rate is 98%. Also, 20% of cases are detected by self-examination, but we must also consider the other methods of detection (medical examination, mammography, mammary ultrasound), "said Dr. Marina Otelea, president of the Casiopeea Association.
